ARCO Refrigerant Air Dryer ARAD-36

The ARCO ARAD-36 is a mid-to-high capacity refrigerant air dryer rated for compressed air systems with airflow up to 3.6 m³/min. It is designed for CNC machining facilities, fabrication workshops, and production lines where a continuous supply of dry clean compressed air is critical to process quality and equipment reliability. The ARAD-36 uses R410a refrigerant at this capacity level, delivering efficient moisture removal with enhanced intelligent temperature sensor protection.

The LED display provides clear operational feedback to the operator at all times with alarm codes allowing immediate identification of any fault condition. At 3.6 m³/min the ARAD-36 is suitable for facilities running larger screw compressors or multiple compressors feeding a shared distribution system where consistent dry air at the point of use is a core operational requirement.

Rotary screw compressors offer significant advantages over piston alternatives in industrial settings. The ARSC-30A runs quieter at 75 dB(A) than comparable piston units, reducing operator fatigue and improving the working environment during long production shifts.

The direct-drive configuration eliminates belt maintenance and reduces mechanical losses, translating into improved energy efficiency over the compressor’s service life. The ARSC-30A is a cost-effective investment for operations that rely on consistent, high-volume compressed air.

The ARCO ARSC-30A is supplied as a complete, ready-to-connect compressor unit. All electrical connections are pre-wired to the unit’s control panel, and the outlet fitting is sized at 1¼” for standard industrial hose and pipe connections.

The unit ships fully assembled and factory-tested. Installation requires only a suitable electrical supply connection and anchorage to the floor if required.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

What is the ARCO ARAD-36 refrigerant air dryer designed for?

The ARAD-36 is designed for mid-to-large industrial compressed air systems requiring moisture removal at up to 3.6 m³/min. It is suited to CNC machining laser cutting fabrication workshops and production lines where moisture in the compressed air causes quality problems or equipment damage.

At higher airflow capacities R410a provides more efficient heat exchange than R134a making it a better match for the thermal demands of a 3.6 m³/min dryer. Both refrigerants are environmentally responsible. The ARAD-12 and ARAD-24 use R134a while ARAD-36 and ARAD-65 use R410a.

The ARAD-36 uses an RC1″ air pipe connection which is larger than the RC3/4″ used on the ARAD-12 and ARAD-24. Ensure your compressed air distribution pipework is sized to RC1″ before installation or use an appropriate reducer fitting if required.

Yes. The ARAD-36 is designed for continuous-duty operation. The automatic temperature control anti-freezing protection and intelligent protection system all manage the units operation without manual intervention ensuring consistent dew point performance throughout extended operating periods in demanding industrial and production environments.
